JAPANESE MIZUNARA

Sourced in the North of Japan, this aqueous wood must dry for 2 years. The outcome is a dry and porous barrel with a high angels' share. Mizunara Oak works particularly well when ageing light or floral whiskeys and when the barrel is filled in at a lower degree than traditional barrels.
